Hugo is a venturesome and visually opulent story of orphans living in a railway station of the Paris of the 1930s. it is filled with demanding seamless order bringing together imaginative photo shoot, production design and computer graphics. Although the latest films make use of technology, the film is also a tribute to the beginning of moviemaking by Scorsese, avid cinephile: third end of the film are mostly aimed Lumiere contribution brothers who pioneered the art of cinema in the early 20th century.
The Film has a retro look with Brown, blues and yellows are dominant. It seemed, Richardson recalls, came from a conversation he had with Scorsese, production designer Dante Ferretti and costume designer Sandy Powell about early use of color in film and still photography. “Our main focus is on Process is Autochrome, invented by Lumiere brothers,” he notes. “But because we shoot digitally and in 3D there are not to imagine that the method I came up to achieve this look, so I made a LUT (look up ) which emulated the Autochrome but have quality characters of the individual’s own as well.”
